FSI Viewer ("Flash Based Single Source Image Viewer") as well as the FSI Pages and FSI Showcase add-ons for FSI Viewer have been developed to display high resolution images on the internet requiring low bandwidth only. Using the Adobe Flash™ browser plug-in FSI Viewer requests image data from Single Source Imaging Servers.Using FSI technology you can present two-dimensional images as well as virtual 3D-presentations consisting of multiple source images. By using Single Source Imaging Servers only one high resolution source image is required for each image to be displayed. Using the Adobe Flash™ browser plug-in FSI Viewer and the FSI Pages and FSI Showcase add-ons can be integrated almost independently of the browser version. As the penetration of this browser plug-in exceeds 98% of all internet users FSI products can be used without downloading or setting up a browser plug-in. The first version of FSI Viewer has been released in 2003. Meanwhile FSI Viewer has constantly been improved and is today one of the leading interactive, Flash based solutions to present high resolution images and catalogs on-line.
