Reason:

FSI Server does not alter the source image pool. The size of the internal storage for FSI Server depends on the quality settings.

Solution:

FSI Server converts the source images into an internal format.
This graph shows the storage size required for a source image pool of approx. 735 MB (771.595.235 Bytes) which consists of typical JPEG and TIFF files after conversion with different settings.
Using a JPEG Quality of 83% will require roughly about the same amount of diskspace for the internal storage as the source images, while the default quality of 94%, which is suitable in most cases, will require about twice the size of the source images.
