This data privacy policy clarifies the nature, scope and purpose of the collection of personal data by NeptuneLabs GmbH.

Elicitation and processing of Server Log Files

NeptuneLabs GmbH collects data about every access of the website (so-called server log files).

This data is anonymous and will be stored separately from any personal data which is eventually collected. Therefore, the access data will not be associated with a natural person. The server data is solely collected for statistical evaluations used for securing and optimizing the website and its services.

The registration process will require a valid e-mail address. You will receive a confirmation e-mail which contains an activation link in order to ensure that no third party makes use of your e-mail address without your knowledge. The data collected within the scope of registration will not be transferred to third parties.

Newsletter

Our newsletter informs you periodically about our company, services and products.

If you sign up for a NeptuneLabs account, you can activate the subscription by using the checkbox “I want to receive news by e-mail” in the user data of your account.

In order to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address. The data collected will not be transferred to third parties.

You can cancel the subscription to our newsletter any time. In order to cancel the subscription, uncheck the checkbox “I want to receive news by e-mail” in the user data of your NeptuneLabs account.

PIWIK

This website uses PIWIK, an Open Source software which is used for analyzing user access. Piwik uses so-called cookies, text files which are stored on your computer. These cookies are used to analyze the usage of our website. All information generated by these cookies is transferred and stored on our Piwik server. Your IP address will be immediately anonymized while being transferred and is therefore stored anonymously.
